Wilson is a ggod loser. This was
proved indisputably at the meeting i
of the cabinet on Tuesday?the first j
since the election?when the chief i
> executive amazed his cabinet, .which ;
unofficially had been led to believe
that he had suffered a bitter disap
pointment, by laughing ana joking
i and joshing his official family over
x the result.
This meeting prwed also that fears j
expressed that the overwhelming vie-:
tory of the Republicans might give |
him a severe setback in his Rattles |

The session lasted for an hour and a[;
half, and most of it was taken up by <
a discussion of the election. <

the meeting. As always, he took ,
an animated part in the proceedings. ]

human side and a keen sense of ,
humor."
The" president used his right hand freely,
but apparently his left arm
and leg are still impaired. His ad- j
visers got the impression, as did the i:
delegation of pro-league Republicans,!'
that called upon him before the elec- J j
tion that he .will never be fully well j
again. The view was expressed by 11
one observer that the president has J
years of life ahead of bim if he suf-j,
fers no sudden physical shock, but;
that such a shock might prove dis-1
