Things We Don't Understand? <S> j
$> <S>
$>$><?><$><$$><$><?><$>'$><&<$><$><$><?><$>
One of the things we do not understand
is how people can pretend
to like that which at heart they dislike,
and often make believe they
don't like a thing when they do. Not
all, but many, people act thus. This
pretense is not directed alone to j
"fVuncrs." but it takes, in human be-1

ings. We like "open and aboveboard"
people, those who "say what
they mean and mean what they
say," the same behind one's back as
to one's face; broad minded, "onefaced"
men and women, who, like little
children, generally, are not deceitful,
and two-faced ceratures.
i Serious Accident.

He was slightly hurt in his chest and
on the right ankle. Drs. Pinner and J
Hentz were called in attendance and !
