about a "League of Nations" having j
for its purpose the preservation 01
peace and protection of human life;
but, far more important at the present
moment than the league of nations
is a league of citizens to pre- P
serve the public health and protect

1. That nearly all diseases are ^
' preventable. , ^
2. That diseases that cause the Jj
mf greatest mortality are the easiest to ?
