"The Shark."
Those who love the sea will be
* thrilled with the scenes in *'The
Shark," a William Fox presentation
featuring George -Walsh, which will
be shown at the opera house Friday.
Much of the action takes place on
a tramp oil steamer sailing from
, Mexican to South American ports
and carrying a crew who fear their
caDtain and his mate because of their
strength ad cruelty.
The plot of the story is worked out
while the ship is traveling at full
speed. The action is speedy, too,
and ^very one is held in breathless
suspense when the hero, to save the
heroine's honor, fires the cargo of oil
. which explodes and blows up the
\ ship. But the happy ending of this
forceful and tragic play leaves a
feeling of intense satisfaction.
The story and scenario were written
by Thomas F. Fallon and the
play by Dell Henderson. ?
