Ordering a Special Election in the .
Town of Newberry for the Purpose
of Issuing Bonds for Enlarging and
Extending Waterworks- of Said
Town:
Whereas, a petition has been presented
to the Mayor and Aldermen of
the Town of Newberry, S. C., in the *
words following, to-wit: ^
"To the Honorable, the Mayor and
Aldermen of the Town of Newberry,
South Carolina:
"We, the undersigned, freeholders *
of the Town of Newberry, in the

purpose of issuing coupon bonds of
said town to the amount of fifty-two

and extending waterwc <s of said

Whereas, it appears that said petition
is signed by a majority of the
freeholders of the Town of Newberry,
