I Work of drilling will be pushed
i night and day, as the promoters state
; the country will socn experience a
! shortage of oil and they hope to re!
lieve this shortage in Georgia.
Experts who have visited the seepI
aere discoveries in the county state
| that crude oil and natural gas really
; exist here and they confidently bei
lieve it will be found in commercial
quantities. Those who have bought
lots will not sell even at a profit.
The first well will be sunk adjacent
to the largest seepage of oil,
! where the geologists say the pros!
pects are brightest. Much enthusiasm
lis being manifested by citizens here.

of gentle, pure and refined women at
a co. rse musical show is a puzzle tc
this Wi iier. But these are puzzling
times. So far as this last musical
! comedy, this "jolly, jingling jambo'
ree" is concerned, some of it was
I
really good; that is n was amusing
I and- entertaining. Chuck and Buck,
unable seamen, were hilariously and
excruciatingly funny, as also was
Jasper,' the black-faced comedian.
Dolly had pretty dresses, and the
costumes of the other girls were, at
some of the stages of the play, attractive
and becoming. The dancing
j was very good, and a little of the
i singing did very well. Did anybody
'ever think it looks silly to - see a
I bunch of people slinging limbs? We
! only ask ihe question for what it is
worth, or not worth, as the case may
; be. We would like to see some
or lirrht drama. But
