or revoke any license for any
cause which may seem to it just.
That any person, firm or corporation,
making any false or fraudulent
return shall upon conviction be punished
as provided.

incorrect return and paying a license
thereon and receiving from the Clerk
and Treasurer of the Town a certificate
showing that they have been
licensed for the year, shall not be relieved
from paying a correct license,
but the Town Council shall have the
right at any time to reopen such
cases and upon not less than 5 days
notice to such persons, firm or corporation,
require same to appear at
a time stated and show cause why
their return should not be corrected
and why they should not be required
to pay a license in accordance with
a time and correct return, and in
case on said hearing the Town Council
determines that such person, firm
or corporation, should pay an additional
license they will be required
to do so and the same may be collected
in accordance with law, and upon
refusal to pay such additional license
they shall be guilty of a violation of
this ordinance and subject to the
penalties provided herein.
That whenever the term "dealer" j

firm or corporation shall violate
this ordinance or any part thereof,
by reason of any failure or refusal
to take out any license herein
provided for, shall constitute a
separate offense and such offender or,
offenders shall be for each day's off- ,
ense, subject to the penalties provided.
That this ordinance shall not operate
as a repeal of any ordinance of
said Town now of force imposing a
license or privilege tax upon anycalling,
trade, business, occupation
or profession, * except such part or
parts only of said ordinance or ordi- ^
nances now of force as may impose
a license upon any calling, business,
occupation, named or enumerated.
This ordinance shall be of force and
effect from the date of its passage.
Done and ratified under the corporate
seal of the said Town, this the
13th day of January, A. D., 1920.
