IN MEMORIAM. This dfite, October 6th, marks the anniversary of the passing of oui noble son, William Ellerbe Pelham Jr., M. D., born January 25, 1879, died October 6, 1918. In life he was all in all to us;?in death he is a bacon light to transfix our minds k ^and hearts upon the things that are f eternal and imperishable. In happy boyhood he was dutiful, truthful and obedient; in the halcyon days of youth and maturer manhood, he was gentle, considerate, thoughtful and affectionate. In life his companionship was a source of great joy and inspiration to our hearts. We took a just pride in his splendid achievements. He ^never disappointed us; he measured 100 per cent to our expectations of hioi, and became the strong, virile, sagracious man beloved by all who ^ knew him. He built himself a monument more lasting than brass. He * is enshrined in the hearts of the peoole. "There is no death, the stars go down to rise upon 'some fairer shore." i "We are nuite sure That He will give them back?bright, pure and beautiful? We know that He will but keep "Our own and His until we fall asleep, We knpw that He does not mean To break the strands reaching Between the Here and There. My lost, my own and I Shall have so much to see Together by and by. I do believe that just the same sweet face, But glorified is waiting in the place i Where we shall meet, if only I IAm counted worthy in that by and by. I do believe that God will give a sweet suprise ^ To tear-stained saddened eyes And that this his heaven will be Most glad, most tided through with l' joy for you and me, As we have suffered most."
