A pepce of right and justice and \ 4 assistance to tide over present trou-! bles are desired bv the new Austrian republic from the hands of the allied and associated powers over the peace table. Thus Dr. Renner set forth Austria's needs Monday at St. Germain when the major portion of the peace terms of the allies were prev sented to the Austrians. i "Our state now rests in your hands I and we hope before the conscience of the world that the allies will not i abuse this power," Dr. Renner de-1 W clared. Under the terms Austria is ^ to renounce possession' of large tracts of territory, including Hungary and her colonial possessions. \ Her navy Is to be entrieiy surrenaer-1 ed, but she is given transit privil- j eges through former Austro-Hungariart territory in order that she may I have access to the Adriatic. As to the future of her army, the v decree .will be submitted later. Likewise the demand for indemnities and , reparations is reserved for future presentation.
