AULL, EDITOR. \ Friday, December 20, 1918. 1 OUR MISTAKE. { In the hurry and rush of getting out 1 the last paper we did not proof read the ad of the Commercial bank on the first page by copy. As a result in publishing the names of the officers ( of the bank the name of R. H. Wright 1 as first assistant cashier was inadvertently omitted. HeJhas been with the bank for many years and is part of the institution. It was not intend- 1 ed of course, because the man who rfit the ad did not know one of the . men from the other and could have j 1 had no purpose i'n omitting any name | and would not have done so intentionally if he had known all of them ( well. He is generally so correct in the setting of ads that we have fre- . quently put his ads to press without ] careful proof reading and the mistakes have been very few. J We regret very much that the name of Mr. Wright was omitted and make this statement because it is due to the accuracy of the record. - J ' CHBITSMAS GIFT. ' 1 The Christmas season is upon us * It should be a gift bearing season * Not so much for the intrinsic value 1 of the gift but for the sentiment that prompts it, in commemoration of rejoicing for the reason that after four years of most horrible world war the nations are once more at peace and good will should prevail amo-ng all j' peoples. .
