Rev. J. D. Huggins, pastor of the
Denmark Baptist church, died Monday
morning at his hpme in Denmark. He

Mr. L. I. Blalock. on his return -from
a trip last week, stotpped in Columbia
over ISunday to see Mrs. iBlalock at
the hospital. He reports his wife as
doing very well since the operation.
Dr. E. H. Kibler.. left Saturday for
Shirley, W. (Va., where 'Mrs. Kfbler
and little E. H.. Tr. are visitine. In
consequence of which Dr. Kibler will
ot be at his office until the 25th
instant.
'Mr. and iMrs. Thos. P. Johnson are

Mr. Jno. <H. Wicker came out In
public .Monday for the first time since
le was taken sick and his many
friends were mighty glad to see him.
[n addition to his broken arm he was
laid up with a fever, all of which went

nature. He is now on the mend and
[eft Thursday for Glenn Springs, accompanied
by IMrs. Wicker.
