The Little Mountain democratic
dnb met in the W. O. W. hall at the
appointed hour and was called to order
by the chairman. Mr. B. H. Miller.
The first business was the election of
officers. :for the next two years, Mr.
B. H. Miller was elected president
and [. B. Derrick was elected clerk.
J. B. Derrick was elected county executive
committeeman and the following
delegates were elected to the
county convention: J. B. Derrick,
A. NT. Boland, J. E. Shealy, A. C.
Wheeler.
The-following resolutions were offered
by Mr. J. K. Derrick and unanimously

excellent address to them, torching
upon their duty and patriotism as
American citizens. Hon. Alan Johnstone
also made a very timely and

made encouragingly remarks af
ter wh.xh he explained to the audience
how they could secure a liberty bond
and the necessity of every citizen
laving one.
A lecture was delivered by Rev.
Richard Carroll cn "The Problem uc
Wsr Force and Jesus Christ."
A number of white citizens were
present to witness the occasion.
All of the 31 boys answered the
roll call and left on Monday at 10
o'conk, a. m. for Camp Jackson.
