Livingston and Henry D. Havird were holding the nozzle and trying to hrow water from the back way. A fence obstructed them in their work, and they couldn't get to do anything from that angle. Mr Havird agreed to j hold the .nozzle while Mr. Livingston j was to break a place in the fence j /here they could through. When picked himself up he had a hard time walknig with a eavv load, as his clothes were one solid lump of ice.
