Miss Marcelino's Bradley's marriage,
a notice of which appears elsewhere
in this issue, will be read with
interest in Newberry where she is
well known, having visited her aunt,
Mrs. J. M. Workman, on several occasions.
Line Sergeant "Jack" Chappell has
returned to his company at Camp Sevier
after a visit here, having been
called home on account of the illness
of his father, Mr. John Henry Chappell,
who is now able to be out again.
Mr. Mc-K. Hutchinson was called to
greer to atten dthe burial of his father,
Mr. J. R. Hutchinson, Wednesday
morning. He has returned from
his sad mission. His father, yho was
S5 years old, had retired apparently
well Monday night, but was found
dead in bed Tuesday morning, having
died suddenly during the night.
