( VARIOUS A5D ALL ABOUT. Did you read what the great Mim-, naugh said? Crowds of people must have read of the "most amazing bargains in' years," judging from the flocks attending the sales after the; announcement and the continuation of the* s^pie. He sells so fast it keeps him busy going to New York for more goods. Mimnaugh's money makes' music as the jingling coins mingle with the long green passing to the' store from the hands of customers flush with cash from big cotton sales,* etc. If you miss?whom you are looking for while in town go to Mimnaugh's. You'll be pretty apt to find . him or her there in the throng. We judge by the looks of the crowds in town that everybody from : the country is well fed. Morris to I call attention to what Mr. Morris said, j He told you that he operated a. I business on strictly a "customer first" j policy, which is good policy, * as it i takes care of you. His store is like ^ * the film of a moving picture, in that i it has a "feature." It is now feay! turing good clothes. Mr. Morris; never says anything that is not so. I I In order to assist in handling thei goods for the many customers Mr. G. i W. Harrison has "come back" for awhile, and you will finjl him "right i there," with the goods. There are three Folk brothers drawn on the jury list for the Dc- j cember term of the court of reneral sessions, which convenes here on December 3, but unlike the three Har-! grove brothers they are not the only ones in the county. The large lot for the parking of automobiles, in close proximity to the large lot for wagons, buggies, horses and mules, makes that part of town have a lively look, aside from the con-' venience and accomodation. i There was just a tear or two in her eyes at the first, but those she , dried quickly, and then the fine prid > ! of the mother of an American soldier ! asserted itself, and she held her head high? From the account of a mother when told of the capture of her son by the Germans in a trench raid. We repeat and recommend to the spirit of mothers here those grand and beauti- i words: "The fine pride of the mother , of an American soldier." Dry those tears quickly, mothers dear, and hold high your heads: it is an honor to be the mother of an American soldier. Those were fair days in Newberry last week, with the weather, the Prosperity fair and the county colored fair. There were good times everywhere. We didn't get to either fair, but enjoyed the fair weather and hearing people speak of the fairs. The Prosperity correspondents will take j care of the fair there.
