corps, 0. R. C.. now at Fort Oglethorpe
was formerly captain of the
sanitary detachment o5 the Second
South Carolina infantry. The Herald
and News reporter knew Dr. 'Schayer
in Laurens, where they^b'oth livedS
for several years. Dr. Schayer is a
fine physician and surgeon and is one.

Died and Buried in Saluda
Mrs. Berry, widow of the late Sidney
Berry, died at her home in Saluda
county Saturday afternoon at 5:30
o'clock and was buried from Bethany
church Sunday.
