large class in mcnl philosophy before
him one day last week. The uition oi
t'ne entire class amounted to $130 *f i
it had been paid in cash, bust most of
the class preferred to accept jobs and
work it out. Judge Player is alwaysconsiderate
toward the parties who receive
diplomas from his institution,
that is, he doesn't turn them out upon
the cold world jobless, unless they
happen to have money enough to pay
up when the lecture course is completed.
Honorable mention is made of
the following names, some of whom
sl*ow remarkable astuteness in taking
two courses: (Will Pearson, two courses,
"skin" and vagrancy, $10 or 30
days for each course. The same honors
were conferred upon Fortune Austin,
Jim Jenkins. Burt Williams. Those
completing the course in vagrancy
wre Joe Jackson, Lewis Jackson and
Alfred Dominick. Joe and Lewis were
assigned to jobs, but Alfred paid his
tuition in cash.
