The reason given by the carmen fo

the railway officials to recognize th

For several hours this morning n
cars were run out of the car barr
where they were taken last night, bu
about 10 o'clock three cars manned b
inspectors and such men as hadn
struck, were run out and put into sei
vice. They were run on three line!
but only to the city limits.
The first near-disorder occurred jus
before noon, when a striker boarde

As a precautionary measure, Mayo
W. H. Gibbes this morning issued
