to be held in Columbia from October
30 to November 3. A number of'
handsome prizes will be given for the

lines of agriculture.
Among the features of the Fair
will be the Cotton Exposition to en
courage the growth of long staple
cotton In this State. The exzposition
will be held under the auspices of the
United States farm demonstration
work and $1, 000 in prizes will be
given for the best results shown in
the growth of the staple cotton.
Reports received here indicate that
many farmers in the State will send
exhibits of farm products. There
will be a special building for the agri-.I a
cultural exhibits.
