Eddie Bobb, son of Mr. W. II.
Bobb, a fanner who lives about three
miles east of Newberry, was attack- cj
etl Tuesday morning by a mad-dog w
and severely bitten on the arm and m
leg before the dog could be knocked 71

Mr. Bobb is about twenty-five years it
old and was at work in the field at e<
the time tho dog made the attack and T
was not aware that the animal was b<
near him until it came upon him. vi
It is said that the dog belonged to

inanity and that it was bitten by an- C
other dog some time ago. This was
known to the negro and lie refused to S
' kill his dog or to take any steps to p
have it retained or let it be known ni
that the dog had been bitten. n<
Mr. Bobb was taken to Atlanta
Tuesday morning to try the Pasteur 01
treatment. The dog was killed and ai
the head lias been sent to the Pastour
institute for examination. fi

Some time ago a pel dog belonging ,

come from the dog having licked him (x
on the hand as well as his little girl. |

who lives in the neighborhood. The
