The following from the Oca la Haulier of October 4, will be of interest to many friends and relatives of Mr. Long in Newberry county, from which place he moved several years airo. They wll learn wtli regret of his death and will sympathize with his family in the loss which they have sustaincd : One of the saddest events that has occurred in our community for a long | lime was the death <>f Mr. fJcorge M. I Long, at the old W. E. Chambers homestead on September 24. No man in this section had more friends or fewer enemies in all the elements that are included in the make-up of a perfect gentleman. A generous neighbor and a true man in every - sense of tln> word, Ooorge M.
