B. Mhyer on Friday afternoon. The various. sub comittees made reports and every thing is being put in flue shape to mark the commencement one of the events in the history of Newberry and especially of Newberry college. It is expected that at least 90 per cent. of the 300 alumni of the institu tion will attend the commencement. The committee on entertainment is arranging to secure homes for at least three hundred .guests, but in- addition to this, it. is expected that there will be a great many more guests here. It may not be known, but there are fifty-five alumni of the college resi dent in the city of Newberry. Arrangements are b'eing made to serve an alumni banquet at the col lege with seats for over three hundred guests. The programme, which has already been. printed, olis on Sun day evening of colmmencement, which sermon by Rev. A. J. Bowers, D.
