To/the Editor or The tiLerald and
News:
Please allow me a little space in
yo,r columns for following com
ments:
You now have in your midst, Mr.
G. WN. Jacobs. one of our neighbors
and one of our best citizens.
He comes to your town believing
Newberry to be, one of the best towns
in the entire state of South Carolina.
While his move is a great loss to
us, and such we deeply regret, on the
other hand it is a great gain to New
berry and her good people.
Mr. Jacobs has been in our midst
since his boy-hood days.
He is a self-made man, of good bus
iness qualities, straight-forward in
his contracts, 'and a man of much
energy.
We trust in this move, and in his
business as livery man of your town,
that all success may attend him.
