NEWBERRY'S TRIBUTL TO GORDON.
The United Confederate Veterans, the Sons
of Ve.crans and Daughters Meet
Memorial Services field.
On Tuesday afternoon at the
Opera House there was a joint
meeting of the camps for the pur
pose of appointing committees to
arrange a memorial service in
honor of tle dead Confederate
General whom the whole South
land loves.
