The first city pi imary will be held on Tuesday. As there are not more than two candidates in any of the races, this primary will be de cisive, except in case of a tie. The entertainment to be given in the Armory tonight under the auspices of the Ladies' Aid Society of the Lutheran Church of the Re deem6r should draw a large crowd. The price of admission is 25 cents. f Tickets will entitle holders to ad mission, luncheon, the use of the p3st office, to try their luck at the fish pond, and the privilege of having their fortunes told by the gypsies. A gypsy band will be en catuped in the hall with gypsies playing guitars, mandolins and violins, and rend ring a number of vocal selections, iucluding the "Gypsy Chorus" from the "Bohe mian Girl.'' The notion counter - and cake table will b_- features. Dr. I. B. Crimm. The following is taken from the Lutheran Visitor: "Dr. I. E. Crimm, the eye specialist, is in Newberry on one of his regular visit". Dr. Crimm's work here on former visits has added new patrons to his already long list. The doctor is a native of Germany, the land of scholars and scientists, and he is a worthy repre sentative of his profession. A mem ber of the Visitor force can use his eyes better since Dt. Crini has fitted himit ih the necessary arti cle in eye glasses. All who consul Dr. Criini may be assurcd of t he fact that they are securing the ser vices and skill of a mo,4t comnpetent eve specialist. Dr. Crimni will be in Newberry only until Saturday night, wheti he leaves for Greenville. People's National Bank.
