Senator Bates has prepared and
will introduce on the first cf the
next session of the Legislature a bill
that he thinks will meet and coun
tervail all the objections raised by
Judge Brawley in declaring the
South Carolina labor law unconsti
tutional.
While we do not profess to be a
law expert his proposed Bill seems
to be in strict harmony wth con
stitutional and congressional provi
sions and to solve the problem.
