Whereas, God Almighty has
given to every man one mouth
to be fed and one pair of hands
adapted to furnish food for that
mouth; if anything can be
proved to be the will of Heaven
it is proved by this fact that that
mouth is to be fed by those
hands, without being interfered
with by any other man who has
also his mouth to feed and bis
hands to labor with. I hold, if
the Almighty had ever made a
set of men that should do all the
eating and none of the work.
He would have made them with
mouths only and no hands, and
if He had made another class,
that He intended should do all
the work and none of the eating,
He would have made them with.
out mouths and with all hands.
Abraham Lincoln.

WANT TO SELL?
Most people have a piece of
furniture, a farm implemeut, or
something else which they have
discarded and which they no
longer want.
These things are put in the
attic, or stored away in the barn,
or left lying about, getting of less
and less value each year.
WHY NOT SELL
THEM
Somebody wants those very
things which have become of no

Furious fighting marked the
engagement, the Russians being
forced in the villages to drive
their adversaries from house to

last reports, were bombarding
violently their lost positions.
In the fighting the Russians
captured a regimental commander
