? Our University Letter By Robt. Turner The program for Easter week as announced last Wednesday morning is one well calculated to meet with the approval of all students and members of the faculty. It is decidedly the best ever planned for the week at the University. It should also prove attractive to the many visitors who will be here for the occasion. The program includes Maypole dances, the rrnninnr r?f fV?o 17?A? v> IUV. vjuccu U1 Ijasici week, the Inter-collegiate Track Meet, a cross country run for the Sylvan Trophy Cup a tennis meet with Davidson, four base % * ball games?two each with Davidson and Oak Ridge, and the three performances by the Polkadot Club, which will present "The Tale of a Sea Serpent" in the Columbia Theatre April 13 and 14. The University students are ^ noting with pleasure the / man county field days being held over the State, and they expect the largest attendance this year at the Intra-State High School Oratorical and Track Meet in its history The High' School boys will be guests of the students of the University during their stay in Columbia. For the first time in the history of football at The University there is a Spring workout for the next year aspriants for the block "C." The track meet which was to have been held - with Davidson last week was postponed at the request of the Davidson manager until a later date. The Federal League team, which has been using the University diamond for Spring i practice, nas returned North to open the baseball seascn. The many friends of Alfred VonKolnitz, the former footdall t" and baseball star of the Univer( sity, are glad to hear of his confccess with the Cincin. ?f \ For 42,0(M 30,00) $1.571-: SO,01 200 400 I Eyiipi J very cfe 3 ton: to 3001 Maya Phone | I I % Cases That Are Being Tried At This Term of Court.
