Sessions, against one CIIAIL.;S FER
GUSON-the one for the murder of a
slave inaed John, and the other for the
murder of onie Joseph AlcGorty.
And, whereas. the said Charles Fergn
son has fled from justice, or so secrete,
himself as to avoid the proces of law.
Now be it known, that in order to bring
the said Charles Ferguson to justice, I,
Je hi I1. ,leans, Goverior in and over the
State of South Caro lina, do issue this my
l'roclamnation, ofrrivg a reward of TWO
IiUNDREI) D)OLI.ARS for the delivery
of the said Charles Fergusunr. at the
Charleston Jail.
Said Ferguson is about fourteen years
of age, about five feet tour inches high,
slender, dark hair and complexion, some
wint freckled, and qiick spukei..
