This may certify that after trying every rem
edy I could hear of. and trying the prescriptions
of five or six of the most scientific physicians of
Sumterville and Columbia, S. C., for tihe dis
ease of my eye-lid, which I am fjlly satisfied
was cancer, that opinion bein gstrengilened by
one of the most extensive practitioners ofColum
his. I received no permanent relief, mud hear
ing of Dr. flick's skill in that disasei, -I pro..
cured his aid, and I now rejoice to say that he
has made a permanent cre of it,' and that in
the very shott time of about eleven weeks from
the first application. My case as I have before
stated. was of twelve years, standing, and of 1
slow but steady progress; and to those who may
he afilicted with this disease I would say, try
the Doctor's remedy by all means, for I earnest
ly and conaciontionly believo it will succeed in
every case where- it to admissible, and lt die
ease not so dinbsed inthe system as to defy any {
remedy whatever.

public that I have been afflicted with the dan,.
gerous disease cancer, for the past six years on
my uppar lip, and becoitlng alarmed on account
of the pain it gave me, and of-its rapid growth,
I was induced to apply to physicians foraid, but
I obtained no relief or satisfaction from them,
and gave up all hope of ever getting wallef it;
but fortunately I saw Dr. J. C. tick's notice
in the Columbia Carolinian. I wrote to him
and put myself under his treatment, ann in say
en weeks the disease was removed and the sore
healed over. I advise all who are laboring un
der this dre rdful disease to apply to him forth.
