They have in contem plation special services for the fourth Sabbath in this month at which time they will bolavored with the presence of some prominent ministers from abroad. 'Editor OraMf/churi) .W u s aud Thors : The County Commissioners of Orange burg and Bnrnwell would do well to give their attention to Bin nicker's bridge, just at this particular time Ihcy would perhaps save tho lives of persons and prevent the dis Iruction of properly. The bridge is in a very precarious and dangerous condition. One of the arches lues set tled a foot lower than the others, which leaves an aching void to the murky waters below, that is unplens ant for man or beast to loo't through. No sane man thinks of passing over tho bridge now without saying bis prayers first, nud returning thanks after ho has landed ou the opposite side. All this might do very well,as a last resort, for a people less given to piety than the inhabitants of the Fork. But we are a law-abiding, church going people, and do not ro quire such extra hazardous means to remind U3 of our religious duties. If the Commissioners, however, are re miss upon the subject of their devo tionnl exercises they are recommend ed to cross over Binnicker's bridge by way of a gentle reminder.
