Council held on the 22nd of January,
1S77, the following resolution was on
motion adopted and ordered to he
spread upon tho minutes, viz :

Town Council of Orungchurg are
hereby tendered to such .white and
colored citizens of said town tu re
sponded to tho call ol his Honor the
Mayor and the Town Marshal to as
sist in sustaining the author lies of
the said town when resisted on the
