this place did not drenm that a century hence I would open the completest.

That was ever established in the interior of South arolinn* Nor did
they think of the mighty destiny that was wrapped up iu the future for Or
angeburg. It was to h?come one of the centres of trado and industry^-but
the homespun maiden and the unkempt bachelor of the long ago, had no
prophetic visions of the fact. But
Truth is Stranger Than Fiction.
And on the 21st of August, 1876, on Russel Street, next door to Dr.
Hydrick's Drugstore, in the Towu of Orangeburg, I established
THE CENTENNIAL GROCERY
