angeburg. It was to bpcumo one of the centres of trade . and industry, but
the homespun maiden and the unkempt bachelor of the long ago, had no
prophetic visions of the fact. B,ut '
Truth is Strange Than Fiction.
And on the 21st of August, 1876, on R?ssel Street, next door to Dr.
Hydrick's Drug Store, in tho Town of Orangeburg, I established

My iriends were invited to examine my)stock and after a thorough in?
spectiun passed the following
RESOLUTIONS UNANMOUSLY.
Resolved, That the people of Orangcburg ounty wh> a re fond of
g^ood things to eat, are under obligations to P. W, Bull for the considera
tion he has manifested towards them in the establishment of his S PLEN
DID GROCERY*, and for the low figures at which ho has marked them.
Resolved further, That his fine Sugur, offee, Lard, Bacon, Hamq,
Molasses, Rice, G riet, Butter, Mackerel, Oysters, Lobsters, anned Fruits,
Tinware, Tobacco, Cigars, Candies, Raisins, Jellies, &c, &., are the best ev
er offered for sale in this place.
