who manifests to much zeal aod interest
in them.

the S C. ft. K. for keeping our important

we were forced to lock recreation in
some way or other. We couid not blow

accommodating conductor nod engineer
upon this counterfeit of Rteam promptness
and comfort. This being the case,
we tried to drive dull care away, and
as a natural sequence, we paid our respects
to Professor Pharazyn's ven'riloquipm
and plight of handshow. We were
aluio't ready to abuse bim. because we
thought that a man who would come to
Camden to pi rform anything, (abulfight
not excepted) with such railroad accommodations
as this town afforded, must
be either a fool or an impo9'or. However,
hoping to turn our wrath front one
object to another, we went to the pro.
feasor's show, and while we expected his
garments, his mechanical boys, his presents
and even his ventrifor aism to he i
full of the perfume of guar.o, we nev- i
ertheless discuvored nothing ofthe kind, i
ow:ng to his 'ove of pure water, no i

class entertainment. All was of an or- 1
dcr highly creditable to the Professor,
