oumbcr of the Lantern, published at Rock
Hill South Carolina. Johnston Jones editor
and proprietor. It is one of the neatest
weeklies that comcc to cur table, and we
wish for it a full share of the patronage it so
richly deserves.

Thursday, the 1st day of February, a complete

that it is both Musical and Dramatic, and as
Camden can boast of fifst-rate talent in ei
ther department, we cannot do otherwise
than promise them an entertainment far superior
to any strollhig band of professionals
who have made their appearance here. Next
week we will publish a programme of the
performance, when every one can judge for

a sad plight he must have been. And yet
his misfortune was one that often befalls
