THZY SAY.
They say?Ah! well, suppose they do,
But can they prove the story true?
Suspicion may arise from nought
But. malice, envy, want of thought;'
Why count yourself among the "they,"
Who whisper what they dare not say ?
They say?But why the tale rehearse,
And help to make the matter worse?
No good can possibly accrue
From telling what may be untrue;
And is it not a nobler plan
To speak of all the best you can?
They say?Well, if it should be so,
Why need you tel^the tale of w6e?
Will it the bitter wrong redress,
Or make one pang of sorrow less ?
Will it the erring one restore,
Henceforth to "go and sin no more?"
They say?0! pause, and look within,
See how thy heart inclines 10 sm;
Watch, lest in dark temptation's hour,
Thou, too, should sink beneath its power;
Pity the frail, weep o'er their fall,
But speak of good, or not at all!
"Am I not a little pale?" inquired
a lady, who was short and corpulent,
of a crusty old bachelor. You look
more like a big tub!" was the blunt
reply. _
An Arkansas Colonel had the following
order for mounting his men;
T-|? O ? .
First order?Prepare fur tcr git onto
yer creeters! Second order?Git.
A clergyman in New York created
a sensation by taking from his pocket
a morning newspaper and reading
the news, last Sunday, while in the
pulpit waiting for service time.

FOR restoring hair upon bald heads (from

and forcing a growth of hair upon the face, it
1?? no equal. It will force the beard to grow
upjn the smoothest face in from five to eight
weeks," dr hair upon bald heads in frotu two
to three months. A few ignorant practitioners
have asserted that there is nothing that
will force or hasten the growth of the hair or
beard. Their assertions arc false, as thousands
of living witnesses (from their own experience)
can bear witness. Dut many will j
say, how are wc to distinguish the genuine !
from the spurious'? It certainly is difficult,
as nine-tenths of the different Preparations
advertised for the hair and beard are entirely
worthless and you may have already thrownaway
large amounts in their purchase. T
such we would say, try the Rcparafor Cappilli,
it will cost you nothing unless it fully comes
up to our representations. If your Druggcst
does not keep it, send us one dollar and wc
will fowa'rd it. postpaid, together with a receipt

THE AUTOMATIC ORGAN.
In presenting the Automatic Organ, we
boldly announce the greatest triumph in mu-1
sical instruments of the age. During the
past half century, the French and Germans
have manufactured reed instruments with
double bellows, and two pedals for the feet to
operate; but the want of the reversed or exhaustion
bellows, (which is the only bellows
used In our instruments,) made it impossible
for them to produce the mellow, rich and mellow
tone for which our instruments arccele
bratcd.
Another objection to this method of blowing
was, that both feet being occupied, no opportunity
was offered for the management of
the swell. Within the past two years, instruments
constructed on this European plan of
"double bellows" hare been manufactured in
this country, and to counteract this difficulty
j(want of a swell) a lever has been projected
from the centre of the instrument, to act on
the swell, and operated by the knee. The inconvenience
and contortion necessary to effect
this object, are disagreeably enough to a gentleman,
but to a lady the use of such an appendago
is nearly impossible.
Our-Automatic device obviates this difficulty
entirely, the simple act of blowing with
more or less force giving the desired increase
or decrease in. the volume"of. the tone.. Wc
predict for this invention a brilliant future.
MELODEON AND SCHOOL ORGAN
For seventeen years the superior exccllcnci
of our Mclodeons has not been questioned,
and lor two years past the enormous demand
has made it impossible for us to meet our orders
promptly. With our increased facilities
we feel warranted iu assuring our patrons
that their orders will be promptly met, and
solicit a continuance of their patronage.

CAUTION TO PURCHASERS.
All of our instruments hgve upon the name
boards, in full, "GEO. A. PRINCE & CO."?
When a dealer rcpreseuts uny other instrument

which he can make a larger profit.
