worth and professional acquirements, will compare
favi rahle with the most distinguished in our coun
try. The medical faculty constitutes an anomaly
in this or any other country?all of them are able
lecturers and the best of teachers.
Those who will contemplate our geograpnicai
position, and the extent of our population, can have
no doubt as to the eligibility of oui situation for an
enterprise of the kind. As to health, including
all seasons of the year, we deny that ant other
city has more.
A common error exists in the minds of many
students relative to the place of studying medicine;
those who intend practicing among the diseases of
the West and South should certainly educate
themselves nta school whose faculty are practically
acquainted witli those diseases.
