JEW DAVID'S OR HEBREW PLASTER
WHERE TniS PLASTER IS APPLIED PAIN CANNOT
EXIST.
A gentleman in the South of Europe, and Palestine, in
1830 heard so much said in the latter place in favor of Jew j
David's Plaster, and of the (as he considered.) miraculous (
cures it had performed, that be was induced to trv it on
Iiis own person, fur a liver affection, the removal of which j
had been the chief object of bis journey, but which had j
resisted the genial influence of that balmy and delicious
clime.
He accordingly applied aplasteron the right side of his
chest, where the pain was seated, another between the
shoulders, and one over the region of the liver. In the
meantime he drank freely ofan herb tea of iuxative qual- ;
ities. He soon found nis health improving, and in a few ]
weeks his cough left him, sallowncss of his skin disappeared,
his pain was removed, and his health became permanently
reinstated.
Since that time he has been recommending it to his
friends and acquaintances for all fixed pains whatever
such as Rheumatism, Gout, Pain in the side, hip, hack 1
and limbs, in every case of wnich it has proved an efficientcure.
He has likewise witnessed the happy effects j
of its softening and healing qualities in numerous cases o |
Scrofulous Humors, Knots, VVens, White Swellings, Hard
Tumors, Stiff Joints, Ague Cakes, Ague in the breast. and 1

A PLANTATION FOR SALE,
In Madison County, Mississippi.
A plantation containing 1040 of the very best
creek bottom and up-land is offered for sale on the
most liberal terms. From 550 to R00 acres are in
cultivation, of which nearly one half is creek bottom
well ditched and drained; the up-land in cultivation
is circled. The most of it is perfectly
fresh; but little if it having been cultivated more
than from one to four years. The place has a constantly
running stream passing through it, which
will afford water enough to gin the cotton crop,
and grind all the corn lor the use of the p'antation.

It has upon it a large gin house and cotton press;

pear, apricot, nectarine, apple trees, grape vinos of
various kinds, and almost every fruit that comes to
perfection in this climate. It is believed to be
one of the most desirable tracts of land in the
country, not only on account of the land, improvements,
water cjre., but also health.
It is offered for sale at a less price and on better
terms, than any such improvements and land are
being offered at in the country.
There will also he sold at the lowest market
price, with the pladtation, the crop of corn, a large
stock of hogp, about GO head of cattle, sheep &c.,
and plantation tools of every description.

furniture.
