to take charge of this Academy. To thosi
who have patronized (ho School, during tin
last year, it is unnecessary to say any thinf
in their recommendation; but we deem it t

themselves of the Advantages of a first rati
school, that these teachers have eminently
fulfilled the very high testimonials they brought
with them, as teachers. The unuersigmd
believe that they hazard nothing in saving
that young Ladies may obtain as good an
education in this institution, as at any Seminary
in the Southern States. The Committee
would also state, that tho music departinrnl
is under tho direction of Mrs. Hart, a lady
eminently qualified for the situation. She is
an excellent performer 011 the 1'iano Forte,
and Guitar, and po.-sc.-scs an admirable tact
of communicating ins'ruction to her pupils.
The exercises of tho Academy will commence
