The Pic Nic last Wednesday was a
perfect success financially, and afforded
our citizens great amusement. The
crowd wasItvge and nothing occurred
to mar the pleasures of the day and the
festivities were kept up till a late hour,
when the tardy ones returned with regrets
that the day was too short. Almost
every kind of amusement was provided
and every one were boys and girls again,
und romped and played as in tho days
when they were unburdened with toil and
the cares of life. We learn that it is
intended to have another pic nic on the
fourth of July and no one who participated
in the Inst will fail to attend the
next gathering of the friends of St. Pe
