niversary meeting ot' the Board of

shaw district, will be held at the CouW
housc in i amtlen, on Monday the 27 ih
inst. at which lime and plact, the Schools
for the ensuing year will be located, and
all demands of the Tutors for the preseut
year will be fiirally adjusted and ptid.
Those who wish schools located in their
neighborhood, or assistance to enable
them to establish schools- must attend with
the names of such persons as mean to
av'4?I themselves of the benefit of the
fund, so ibat a fair and equal distribution
of it may oe made.

the planting and preserving o( 1 rees,
on the Public Squares ol Can. den. >
Is;. Be it O (Luincci by the Intendant and
Wardens qf the /own of Camden , in Coun
cil assembled, 1 hat till persons owning an
enclosed lot or lots in said 1 own, cause to
be planted in front of such lot or lots trees
calculated to shade and ornament the place,
before the first day of June, 1817.
2d. And all pet sons who hereafter en
close any lot within the Town ot Camden,
shall, wttbin one year from the time of
such enclosure, plant trees in the streets
in front or the said loi, at the distance re
quired by this Ordinance ; and in default
thereof, shall pay a fine not exceeding^tr
dollars , to be applied in planting such trees.
3d* The tree* required by this Orxlin
ance, shall be planted within twenty-five
feet of each other, so as to fill the full
front of each lot on a street or public square,
and shall be between nine and ten feet from
the line of the lot.
4th. That the trees required by this Or
dinance shall be of the following kind,
Pride of India, Palm, Flms, Water Oak,
Locusts, American Poplar, Lumbal dy
Poplar.
Ratified in Town Council, this eleventh
day of May, m the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and six
teen.
