They were closely jammed together, while to Carr't

4
When to Qroeavlllo they did cento, they hoard a j

A little monkey shouting, "Any thing to sell?"
How wisely they did answer, " With you wo trade

ROOFINGH
TIIE rainy season has coiuc, when it is very unpleasant,
indeed, for those that haro Leaky
Hoofs, Chimneys, Gutters, Ac., and being aware that
there are a great many Roofs of Tin, Shinglos, Ac.,
that aro in a leaky condition iu this vicinity, I havo
taken up iny residence hero among you, for the purpose
of carryingon a GENERAL ROOFING BUSINESS,
with
Letter's Sheet Rootling*, <
An article destined to supersede Tin, Shingles, and
other material now used for that purpose. It has
the resemblance of sheet lead, with as good qualities
as that material, being both fire and water proof,
and very durable, and what is very much needed I
here, an article that is cheaper in all respects. It is
not only adapted for Houses, hut Railroad Cars, Cabs, I
Steamboat Decks, .to., and ?an be used to walk up- t
on, as when it is put in and finished, it becomes very '
hard and smooth. It is also fireproof. Wo have it i
in use ou Locomotive Cubs, Steamboat Decks, Ac., i
where fire is constautly dropping upon it. It docs I
not affect it in the least. <
I warrant all Roofs water tight, and not to blow
o(T, or I make no charge. The Cement that is used
with the Sheet Roofiing, is also made for old Tin or
Iron Roofs, and when painted with two coats of tliie
material, I warrant perfectly tight, or no charge
made, and will last for years after. It is much better
than anything else used, as the contraction or
expansion of Tin or Iron will not affect it, neither
the heat or cold.
Those having Roofs to cover anew, or old Tin or
Iron ones to be made tight, will please give uie a call.
They shall he satisfied that what 1 say is correct.
Letter* addressed to me at Greenville, or orders
left at the Mansion llouse, will meet with prompt
attention. 0. W. CASTLE.
