rrlllE rainy season has cotnc, when it is very ubI
pleasant, indeed, for those that havo Leaky
Hoofs, Chimneys, Gutters, Ac., and being aware that
(hero are a great many Hoofs of Tin, Shingles, A>.,
that arc in a leaky Condition in this vicinity, t liavo
taken up my residence here among you, for the purpose
of enrryingon a GENERAL HOOFING BUSINESS,
with
Lester's Sheet Rootling,
An article destined to supcrsodo Tin, Shingles, irtd
other material now used for that purpose. It has
tho resemblance of sheet lend, with as good qualities
as that material, being both fire and water proof,
and very durable, and what is very much needed
here, an article that is cheaper in allrespocts. It is
not only adapted for Houses, but Railroad Cats, Cabs,
Steamboat Decks, Ac;; and can bo used to walk upon,
as when it is put in ?ud finishod,- it betfotnea vmV
ultra ami smooth. It in also fireproof. We hero it
in use on Locomotive Cnl>?, Steamboat Decks, Ac.,
where tire is constantly tlro]>ping upon iU It does
not affect it in tbo leant.
I warrant all Hoofs water tight, and not to blow
off. or t ninkc no charge. The Ccincut that it um'1
with Dm Sheet Hoofiing, is also made for old Tin or
Iron Hoofs, and when painted with two coats of this
material, I warrant perfectly tight, or no clitrgo
made, mid will Inst for years after. It it much better
than anything else used, as the contraction or
expansion of Tin or Iron will not affect it, neither
the heat or cold.
Those having Hoofs to cover anew, or old Tin or1
Iron ouoS tube made tight, Will please giye ino a ealL
They shall bo satislled that What I say is correct.
