A STOLEN from Uta subscriber, on the
jXXTtnight of the 27th ult, a Bright Sorrel
iT5iii/\.MARE, with a new Bridle and Saddle.
Said Mare is Ave year, old, and of medium sis?.
No marks recollected, except a sore in the loft eornor
of tho month, and that the mane is short about
the middle of the neck.
Said Mare was stolen by a man who ealled himself
Smith. Smith is about 6 foot 10 inches high,
has dark bair and eyes, is bald-headed, and has a
stiff forefinger on the right hand, and wears a fine
gold ring on tho llttlo fiuger of tba left hand. Supposed
to tie about 60 years old.
I will pay a reward of Fifty Pollers for the apprehension
of tho Thief with the reeorcry of the
Mare, or a reward of Ten Dollars for tho recovery
of the Mere alone. Any information in regard to
tho whereabouts of aaid Mare will be thankfully

An article destined to supersede Tin, Shingles, sad
other material now used for that purpose. It ban
the resemblance of sheet lead, with as good qualities
as that material, being both Are and water proof,
and very durable, and what Is very mesh needsa _
here, an article that is cheaper in all respect It In
not only adapted for Houses, but Railroad Cars, Cabs,
Steamboat Decks. Ac., and can bo used tc walk upon,
as when it is put in and finished, it becomes very
bard and smooth. It is also Arc proof. We have it
in nse on Locomotiro Cabs, Steamboat Deeka, Ac.,
whore fire is constantly dropping upon it. It does
not affect it in the least.
I warrant all Roofs water tight, and not to blow
off, or I make no charge. The Cement that Is used
with the Sheet Roofiing, is also made for old Tin or
Iron Roofs, and when painted with two eoats of this

inado, and will last for years after. It Is much better
than anything else used, u the contraction or
expansion of Tin or Iron will not affect It, neither
tho heat or cold.
