first, by tubercular absorption ; in the second,
bv the transformation of tubercule into
chalky and calcareous concretions; in the
third, by cicatrices or scars. Those wedded
to the opinion of the past may assert that it
is even now incurable. Such are behind the
age. To all this great truth must be appa
rent, viz : that medicines inhaled directly
into the lunys, whether in the form of Vapor
or Powder, must be more effectunl than that
taken into the stomach. In short, the only
ark of lefugo for the Consumptive is in Inhalation.
