The Building is situated on the corner of Jackton
and Feu wick Streets, between the Georgia and
the Savannah lloil Road Depots; and in sight
of both. It in therefore convenient for the reception
of patients from a distance. In ita construction,
throughout the entire plan, was kept
iu view the speciul purpose to which it is applied;
being furnished with everything which
can comluco to tho comfort of the SICK. It is
supplied with hot and cold baths and shower
baths?end has water-closets iu each story to
avoid fatigue und ex|H>snre to tho patients. It
is also well ventilated and lighted with gas.
With the constant attendunce of experienced
mnlc and female nurses, the patient will be saved
much of the suffering which too often is the reresult
of unavoidable neglect in tho treatment of
Negroes in ordinary private pructice.
