movement which will bring famine, ruin
and incalculable misery upon the state,
and bring to an early solution the
problem of tho negro. Strikes at this
season of the year must resu't in star,
?ation next winter, and starvation will
produce aiioh lueubordination as must
bring oof politic*! malady to what the
doctors Vsold call a crisis. Colored
and white men should unite in the effort
to detect and adequately punish the ras
cals, white and black, who would bring
such evil upon them.
