AN ACT TO ALTER AND AMEND THE MILITIA
LAWS OF THE STATE,
Sec. 1. Bo it enacted b.v the Seriate and House of
Representatives, now met and sitting in General Assembly,
and by the authority of the same, That Iroui

persons within this State, between the sg<-s of sixteen
mil lifty, not exempt from active serviee without the
limits ol the District in which lliey reside, by the "militia
laws of this State, shall bo liable to active military
