BET E. GRAIN'S PATENT BRACE.
THIS SHOULDER BRACE AND SUPPORTER
HAS been for some time before the public, and is
now rapidly superceding every other invention
of a similar nature.
It has been found by experience that the most important
end of the corset is answered by the use of
this Brace, and this is effected in so happy a manner,
that instead of being done at the expense of any organ
or 6etof organs, it is really a benefit; more particularly
so far as the lungs are concerned; for whilst
the body is maintained in an erect position instead of
the cheat being compressed thereby, the expansion of
the lungs is promoted, the entire front of the chest is

STRAYED or stolen from the subscriber on the
night of the 7th inst., a bay Mare, 7 or 8 years
old, white face and nose, and one hind foot white,
about 15 hands high, with oue hip knocked down. It
is supposed she was stolen by a man whose name is
unknown, about forty cr forty-five years old, short set,
weighs about 130 or 135 pounds, red face, dark hair,
turning grey, speaks loud and quick. He was dressed
when last seen, in dark pantaloons, yellowish coat, a
black cloak, a low crowned black hat, and is general
ly smoking a pipe.
The abovo reward will be paid for information where
the Mare can be found.

Moore. It is quite probable he is trying to make hia

white man or free negro.
